Chesnok Red garlic is a Purple Stripe, hardneck garlic. Rich in flavor without being overpowering, excellent for roasting. Chesnok Red produces large bulbs with beautiful purple stripes on white wrappers that house eight to twelve large cloves whose skins are tinged with pink and red hues. Grows well in cold or warm climates and stores four to six months.
